This next thank you goes to the Unknown Samaritan. This person is any
person who does an act of kindness. Because we often do not meet those who
bring acts of abuse to our attention, or lead us to an animal in need, we
would like to take this opportunity to thank each of those people who has
helped us and the animals we love. This also extends to any person who
makes an animals life better. You know who you are and by your actions you
make this town and our community a better place to live.
In this section you will find special details and quirks on a featured animal available for adoption!

Possum is a beautiful grey with black stripes, wide-eyed baby boy who is 3 weeks old. He is curious and not afraid and if he is adopted, will grow up to be a beautiful companion.
Thea, Possum's sister, is lovely and looks almost identical to her big brother. She is happy and playful and is trying to eat us out of house and home.
Feather, the littlest of these tiny babies is a soft dove-grey tabby girl. She is quite shy and has to be encouraged to get her share of food because her brother and sister are a bit bigger and stronger.
It will be some time before these orphans are ready to go but if you are interested or know someone who might be, please call the office or our adoption coordinator.
Jeff:

Jeff is a 3 year old neutered male that has lived the majority of his life at the shelter with his twin brother Mutt. Jeff is more of an extrovert than Mutt, he will be first to greet you and give you kisses and if you are wearing sandals, Jeff will follow you everywhere you go because he is fascinated with feet, not biting or pawing... just adoring :) His shiny black coat, impressive size and glowing yellow eyes make him the handsomest cat at the shelter and we would love to find a home that would take both he and his brother Mutt.

Mercury has nurtured so many of the lost little ones at the shelter, the orphans and strays that she treated like her own. She has done so much and asks for so little...just a home of her own and someone to love.
Paddy
1 yr old male. Paddy’s name was inspired because he was brought to the shelter on St. Patrick’s day. Perhaps Patty can have the luck of the Irish and be adopted into a good home. He is quiet and kind and deserves a good life.
